Texas land and Title (TLT) knows that experience matters. There is not one job description on the prior page that our Executive and Management team has not done themselves. We feel in order to be proficient for our clients We need to surround ourselves with the most experienced Management team possible in order to be able to lead our team effectively for our clients.

Lana McLaughlin

Co-President

Lana is a co-founder with over 21 years in the Title, Abstracting, Oil and Gas Leasing and Right of Way Industries. Lana, in her early career, was the owner of an Accounting Business in Shreveport Louisiana, which she successfully ran for 6 years. She found another calling as an Oil and Gas Leasing Agent. Lana then tried the Right of Way side of the industry, she began as a title agent, and worked her way up to a Title Manager through the years. Lana has extensive knowledge relating to surface title and has supervised many title agents on various sized projects. 

Lana’s knowledge and leadership skills are a key example of her can do attitude and unwavering attention to detail have made her a successful manager, additionally she has worn many hats on the projects she has been involved in, such as Right of Way Agent, and Permit Agent, as such she is extremely versed in the Right of Way side of the Business.

Steve McLaughlin

Co-President

Steve is a co-founder with over 21 years in the Industry. Steve began as a Right of Way Agent and worked his way up with a sincere desire to become one of the best in the Industry, and as such was successful as a Project Manager for many years, and most recently a Director in the Industry. 

Steve’s approach to managing projects has formed lasting relationships with many client companies, through strong leadership and a commitment to getting it done right with the best team of employees available in the Right of Way Industry. Steve is a true example that hard work, perseverance, and attention to details, big or small, will bring a successful outcome to each and every Project, no matter the scope.

Blake Ledford

Project Supervisor / Business Development Manager

With 14 years in the oil and gas industry, Blake started out as a title agent presenting a very eager attitude to learn. After completing many years of title research, Blake secured his TREC license to begin his next chapter.  After turning his focus to right of way acquisition he successfully completed   many projects, as a Right of Way agent, Sr. Right of Way agent, Sr. Lead Right of Way Agent and Project Supervisor and often doubling as the designated permit agent, to permit county roads, state highways, railroads, and waterways . Blake has always had a can-do attitude and continues to expand his knowledge base.

Blake is a member of the IRWA CHAPTER 8.

Ashley Jones

Manager

Ashley started her career in the Technology and Networking Field, spending 15 years in technical support and being a field technician.  She specialized in hardware and software, becoming a SME for Mac OS X and iOS.  

In 2022, she obtained a notary license in Texas and became a Document Specialist.  She has expanded her experience working Title and supporting the team by creating documents.  Ashley is eager to learn and is dedicated to providing support where it is needed in Title, Accounting, and Right-of-Way. 

Ashley is a member of the IRWA CHAPTER 36.
